Candle Care Instruction

Each candle has been hand-poured using pure clean wax and essential oil, or high grade fragrances to create a slow burning, highly aromatic candle that releases a long lasting scent that is palatable and refreshing. We use the highest quality, locally sourced* materials in all of our products. All our packaging is made from 100% recyclable materials.

Following the care and safety instructions below will help ensure that your candle maintains its appearance and scent for as long as possible.

Be sure to keep an eye on burning candles.
Avoid burning the candle for longer than 3 hours at a time.
Candles should be placed out of the reach of children and pets.
When you place two burning candles side by side, leave at least 7cm between them.
Candles should not be burned on or near flammable objects.
Do not place candles in an area that will allow air to flow around them.
Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting each time you use the candle.
To avoid the risk of fire, do not burn votive candles all the way down. We recommend leaving at least 5mm of wax in the holder.
It is best to extinguish a candle by snuffing the flame rather than blowing on it.
Be sure to maintain clear wax pools to avoid wax flaring.
To prevent the candle from becoming brittle, keep it in a dry, low-temperature room.
If you keep candles in a room that is not dry and at a temperature of less than 70 degrees Fahrenheit, they will be less likely to burn unevenly, drip, or melt.
Note to Coconut Candle: Additional oil on a candle's surface does not affect its burn time. To remove excess oil, simply wipe it off with a cloth or tissue.
